1. Services

Klay Klothing provides bespoke tailoring services, including custom suits, shirts, trousers, African wear, and wedding attire. We offer made-to-measure and custom-tailored garments crafted to your specifications.

All services are subject to availability and our professional assessment of your requirements. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to requests that may compromise quality or violate our standards.

2. Orders and Payments

2.1 Order Process

When you place an order with Klay Klothing, you will be required to:

• Provide accurate measurements or schedule a fitting appointment
• Select fabrics and design preferences
• Pay a deposit (typically 50% of the total order value)
• Confirm all details before production begins

2.2 Payment Terms

We accept the following payment methods:

• M-Pesa (Mobile Money)
• Bank transfers
• Cash payments
• Major credit and debit cards

Full payment is required before delivery or collection of completed garments. We reserve the right to withhold delivery until payment is complete.

3. Measurements and Fittings

Accurate measurements are essential for perfect fit. We offer:

• In-person measurements at our showroom in Nairobi
• Virtual consultation and remote fitting services (subject to availability)
• Multiple fitting sessions to ensure perfect fit

You are responsible for providing accurate measurements. If measurements are provided by you and found to be incorrect, additional charges may apply for alterations or remakes.

4. Production Timeline

Standard production times are as follows:

• Custom Suits: 3-4 weeks from order confirmation
• Shirts and Trousers: 2-3 weeks
• Wedding Attire: 4-6 weeks (recommended 6-8 weeks before event)
• African Wear: 3-4 weeks

Rush orders may be accommodated with additional fees. Production times may vary based on fabric availability, design complexity, and seasonal demand. We will provide updates on any delays.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are subject to the following terms:

• Within 48 hours of order: Full refund of deposit
• After fabric cutting begins: 50% restocking fee applies
• After production begins: No refund, but we will work to complete the order

5.2 Refund Policy

Refunds are processed within 7-14 business days using the original payment method. Custom-made items are non-refundable once production has begun, except in cases of:

• Defective workmanship (we will remake at no charge)
• Significant errors on our part
• Failure to meet agreed specifications

6. Alterations and Adjustments

We guarantee perfect fit and offer:

• Complimentary alterations within 30 days of delivery
• Free adjustments for weight changes (within reasonable limits)
• Professional alteration services for garments purchased elsewhere

Alterations requested after 30 days or for significant changes may incur additional charges.

7. Delivery

Delivery options include:

• Free delivery: Within Nairobi and surrounding areas
• Nationwide delivery: Available with delivery fees based on location
• Collection: Available at our showroom during business hours

Delivery times are estimates and may vary. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party delivery services or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including designs, images, logos, and text, is the property of Klay Klothing and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not:

• Reproduce or distribute our designs without permission
• Use our images or content for commercial purposes
• Copy or replicate our designs for resale

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Klay Klothing's liability is limited to the value of the order
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
• We are not responsible for delays due to circumstances beyond our control
• Garments are made to order and cannot be returned unless defective

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
